So Today… 8.16.24
These past few weeks have been tumulteous to say the least. We've seen a sitting President unselfishly withdraw from the race for the presidency after 50+ years of dedicated service to our country, yielding to a constituency of cries for change, endorses his Vice-President, a bright, vibrant, and highly intelligent woman of color to run in his stead, while a country watches in awe and shows its true colors of democracy at its best. Crossing party lines, embracing the new and standing defiant together against the idiocy called...well, you know who and what!

Inconsiderate and Rude
I stopped by a well-known grocery chain on my way home from work today. It had been a very long day, hot as “heaven,” which already had me in an unforgiving mindset. I’m standing in line at the deli, surprised I was the only one there; this was a busy time of day. I had been waiting for at least 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. That’s it. Acknowledged. About 20 minutes later, another customer bum-rushed my space, nearly elbowing me, approached the counter, and motioned for the clerk to assist her because, get this… she had called in an order. He did. I left. Now, that’s some (fill in the blank).
